Terms and Conditions

These terms govern quotations issued through this website and the services we provide. Quotations are based on the information supplied in your enquiry and remain valid for the period stated on the quotation.

Quotations

Rates are subject to changes in carrier tariffs, fuel surcharges, currency movement and terminal charges before shipment. Where cargo details differ from those declared, we may re-issue the quotation before booking, or adjust charges after shipment.

Chargeable weight and volume

Air freight is charged on the greater of actual weight and volumetric weight. Sea freight is charged on volume or on a minimum chargeable unit. Our quotation states which basis applies.

Restricted and dangerous goods

Dangerous, restricted or temperature-sensitive cargo must be declared in writing before booking, together with the required transport documentation. Undeclared cargo may be refused or held by authorities at the shipper's risk and expense.

Liability

Carriage is subject to the liability limits of the applicable international conventions and carrier terms. Higher cover is available on request through cargo insurance, which we recommend for all shipments.

Demurrage, detention and storage

Charges raised by carriers, terminals or authorities for delays beyond free time, including demurrage and detention, are payable by the party responsible for the delay.

Claims

Loss or damage must be notified in writing as soon as it is discovered, and no later than the period allowed under the applicable convention, so that we can lodge the claim with the carrier in time.
